	Need replacement player for Naval PBEM. Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

I will be without my computer for 1-3 weeks starting the 19th of May and one of the PBEMs I'm in requires I find someone to take my slot.

The Naval PBEM has each player starting on their own island and then making contact with each other later. The civ I was playing is the Germans.

Is anyone interested in taking this over from me?

I would replace you in Trips game. Not in the Naval game, for obvious reasons. Feel free to mail me your instructions (if any), may be desired locations of new cities, as the game seems to be still young and you certainly have a plan how to expand and what to build. Nobody tries to "kick" you out of the games, btw. If you knew you are away a week, we'd wait a week. But it sounds strange, that you don't even know, when you return. Something between 1-3 weeks sounds, a bit exaggerated, like "I may return and may not", this scares us game junkies .

It's the Federal Government of the United States. You never know what the heck their going to do. Three weeks is a worst case scenario, just so there are no suprises. Last October we were going through this same thing and 24 hours before we mobilized they cancelled it and we didn't do anything. So, I have no definite on what they're going to do.

That should not be a problem. It is not as if we have progressed to the point of getting off our starting islands and contacting others (have we? )

Err .. Alexman, I don't suppose you would stand in for me in the Naval game from 17 to 23 May would you?

I mean in addition to standing in for GhengisFarb who is the player after me in the game.

I will definitely not be able to play during this time.

If you need a sub or replacement ignorant of the map (among other things) I'll volunteer. It doesn't seem there's much interest in starting new games right now.

I'm in one other small game.

I don't know, it looks like I will only be out of the loop for a weekend but I will have a "definite" answer by Wednesday.
