	Base names thread Tired of ads?

Post your suggestions for base names here: I think names that have a historical link to communism, socialism, Maoist China, etc. as well as any new "Hivist" or futuristic left-wing sounding names are appropriate, but if you have another name please post it here.

Note: I suggest that we keep this thread for base names only, with a seperate thread/poll be created later on by the appropriate commissioner/minister/etc. later.

The People's Island (for sea bases)
The Commune
Yang's Memorial (for the small useless base that will just be a tourist destination)
The Planet Liberation HQ (For which ever base get the majority of the army or any sort of secret project that implies military command)
The Naval Liberation HQ (ditto above)
The Aero Liberaiton HQ (ditto)
The Sword of Lenin (Actually, we should call our Planet busters this!)

...and we should call our formers "Quantum Planet Busters" just to scare people.

Hopefully we can appoint prefects for each base, once we get a few, who can choose the name, build queue preferences etc for their own bases.

I have to say I like the default Hive names very much. Hole of Aspiration is a favorite.

Well, in keeping with the tradition of communist dictors and great leaders through history I suggest that our second base be named after our great Chairman.
Choices :

Voltairograd
Voltaire Base
The Glory of Voltaire
Voltaire's Den
Burrow of Voltaire
Voltarion
Voltairistock
Holy Citiadel of Voltaire

We should then continue through the Hive hirarchy for the third base (likely to be built on the same turn) with a base named by or for our deputy chairman (still to be appointed) and then on through the ministers untill all 14 of us have a base name. When it comes to someone's turn they can instead suggest a different name i.e. Frankychan instead of having "FrankyChanVille" could ask for "Leningrad"

I'd like to see "The PRAVDA offices of Jamski" as a base. Or "Marshal Rossossky's Army HQ" That would be nice. Agree? Disagree? We'll easily get enough bases
