	Mods: - Re restricted access thread? Got spare money?

Is it possible to set a specific thread with restricted access?

I ask as there is a thread we use in 'Other Games' for online gaming and we now are suspicious other (non Poly or recent members spying) are using it to find information about a clan we have set up other tactical information.

I have to wonder why you guys aren't using some sort of IM system instead of the rather public forums. I imagine the mods would help you restrict a thread for just a few people only if they're feel magnanimous.

Ming, if it is racist of me to say that minorities* commit more crime, then it is racist against whites for Lancer to say that blacks run faster.

Or can't you see the truth in both statements?

* minorities doesn't necessarily refer to race anyway.

I know that a fair number of Shadowbane clans have started their own messageboards for the purposes of keeping private information private, and/or they set up regular times for ICQ or AIM chats. Of course that leads to the problem of people trying to infiltrate said forums/chats by posing as clan members, but you'd have the same problem on a restricted-access thread as you'd have on a restricted-access forum.

Maybe Markos or Dan will give you a private forum or hosted site or whatever in exchange for a hunk of money. Might be cheaper/easier than setting up your own messageboard.
