Downloaded the demo and it was a blast, except for the horrible fps I encountered. Now, I turned the resolution down, put the graphics on low and came back only to find that it wasn't one bit better.
Here are my specs:
P3 - 850 mHz
384 ram
Radeon 7500 64 mb card (latest drivers)
DX 9.0a
What's going on here? The fps is okay provided that there aren't any units on the screen. It seems to matter less how many, just as long as there are some. Five peasants could be hacking at a tree and the fps would drop from 30 something to 4.
Any help here? Or can I expect the retail RoN to run at 4 fps as well. If so, I think I might end up passing on it, regardless of how great it might be.

I'm having the same problem with the demo. Additionally, all the buildings are covered (not completely) with this whiteness. I can play, but it is very annoying.
At least the gameplay is pretty good.
