I downloaded a few units from this site and others, and I cant figure out how to get the unit icon onto the icons list ( the one under art/ units/units_32) so I can use them. Can someone please help. Also, can someone list sites where I may be able to find some vietnam war era units, such A-4's, Huey's, Apc's, etc.
If anyone is interested in checking out my scenario, The Vietnam War, Id be happy to post it here when Im finished. I made the map from scratch, and am going to have to borrow units, since Ive never tried to make them and it already takes forever just to make the scenario, let alone units and other stuff (although I may give it a try once the scenario is actually finished).
My plan is to continue improving this scenario for accuracy and playability after I am finished with it, so I can make it as realistic as possible, based on input from anyone interested in trying it out. Anyways thanks in advance.

If this relates to Civ3 PTW, then BUMP^, I too am looking for the correct way to add new units.
This is how I've bodged it for now, untill someone tells me the correct way.
In the editor, the units have a key field, called the Civilopedia entry key or something. I added a new infantry type, and copied the key for some useless unit I never use into that field , in this case I used Helicopter. Then I went to the art/units directory, copied the graphics file of the unit I wanted, and renamed it Helicopter, after first baqcking up the original helicopter file. This is a workaround, when the new unit appears in the game, if you look at it's civilopedia description it is about helicopters, but the unit I designed and the graphics I chose for it are the ones that actually get played in the game. This works for now, but I would really like to know how to do it properly- this bodge is unsuitable for sharing scenarios. Anybody know how?
