Nominate yourself to become part of the new government!

7 positions are open in the Politburo.

Once you are elected to the Politburo, you will elect a chairman, who will then select others in the Politburo to perform the duties of Economic Minister, Propoganda minister, Armaments Minister and head of the NKVD.

We need at least seven people to nominate themselves, the maximum that can be nominated is 24 (based upon the max number of poll options) not that I think we'll run into that problem. I believe 4 days should be more than enough to get nominations in. However this is subject to change if I consult with the current STAVKA first. Nominations MUST be made in this thread btw.

Just for general knowledge, are STAVKA positions (front commanders) and Politburo positions mutually exclusive? ie You can be on one but not the other?

that's an amendment we have to on, since it is unfair to assume everyone who voted for the first post in that thread also agrees with the amendments.

Ok, people need to accept their nomination before they get included in the election, what if one of those people you nominate isn't going to be around ever and we elect them anyways. So accept your nominations or you won't be included.

Yep, seriously that was part of my plan. Depth in the Politburo so if lets say I need a break as Arms Minister there will be an assitant to take over.

I think this Politburo thing will work well. I hope whoever is in charge of it uses it to the benefit of the game!

I was kind of hoping we would get more than 6 nominations and exceptances thus far.........

You can be a "member at large" or an assistant at first. Your duties can be minimized, when school work clears for the summer or whatever let the Politburo know and you can assume more duties. Sound fair enough?
