Operation Engineering Payment has been delayed and delayed. The second boat will not get away for another 8 turns or so, and we can't even build the proposed contents for the third boat - Pikemen. We still don't have Feudalism, so any forces we send will be undefended from the GS Med Inf (which they no doubt have by now thanks to their GA).

I cannot understand why we are mining and roading the mountains S, SE of Leon. It would have been much faster and beneficial to road the forest and flood plains coming SW, S of Pamplona. Oy! Anyways...

I would like estimates for road completion to Bilbao, Salamanca, and the Ivory City site.

Would it be faster to have the workers connecting the Gems to go back through the Leon mountain road and assisting those workers in building a road down the ivory river valley?

At present, Toledo is perhaps the most productive city in all Spain next to the capital and Pamplona. In ten turns we shall have a barracks, and afterwards, as the King has asked, we shall produce as many troops as the Marshal requires.

Results

Our WM given to GoW for their WM. Reveals no quick route to GS, but does reveal that Legoland is absolutely huge.

Strangely enough, we have an accurate map of all of the features, including improvements, of any area GoW has explored ... it also shows us where the Barbarian hut is in our SW. This is an interesting "feature".

ND has left the cultural borders of Bilbao.

I'm glad you know the spirit of the plan and caught my mistake.

Darn, no shortcut to GS! If only we had the Lighthouse! Doesn't matter though, because we already discussed landing north with Vox troops to avoid GoW's fate.

I'd would love to send Madrid Exp. to root out that Barbarian hut...but we would need a garrison replacement for Madrid...ideas?

They cut Persia's iron supply? Would this not be detrimental to the Voxian cause unless a new road is immediately constructed? Let us hope that the Egyptians haven't launched any really powerful offensive, otherwise I see no way that the Persians can survive or we can assist them. If we move in now, we may well be backing the wrong chaps.

Let us hope repairs are made to that road rather quickly, as Persia without iron is something that really, really looks awfully useless.

If we ever get over there to land, we'll need to be safe behind Voxian lines. Perhaps by the time we get over there, Voxian lines will be thinner than we hoped.

Looking at the map, I think Vox cut their own road, as it's in a place that's easy to rebuild and unlikely that GS got all the way up there.

As for going after the Barbs, maybe Feocavos can go Barb hunting, Madrid Exp and the Madrid Garrison can go overseas, and New Madrid can build a new garrison the turn it is founded.
