PtW came with several very cool German WWII ground units, such as the Tiger and Tiger II, infantry, machine gunners and a flamethrower unit.

Also, several player-created WWII units are available. Go to the forums on www.civfanatics.com and you can find them under customization.

aaglo, have you tried your hand at some futuristic units? I'd love a cool hovertank or futuristic jet fighter. What Civ3 needs is a good future age!

Second, like you said, you'll find many futuristic units in the www.civfanatics.com . The only futuristic unit I've done so far is the Trike (available in this forum too)

I basically want to replace all the game's units with different flavor units for each civ - same stats, different graphics. I think we can forget the Zulus Aztecs and Iroquois - just the real civs

So, if you can make a few different kinds of catapults for the different civs that would be nice, or something that would replace a catapult for that culture like a balista or mangonel (or battering ram??) I'd also LOVE some sailing ships of the Napoleonic era : Cutter, Sloop, Brig, Frigate, 3rd rate, 2nd rate, 1st rate etc. for a naval battles mod
