He's orders were for something like one year so he is certainly still in the region. Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR for short) is the military organization which sets up e-mail stations, satilite phones so soldiers can call home, and stuff like that. Spayber is most likely at the MWR tent at one of our bases in Iraq or else where in the region.

Keep up the good work buddy and I still have that package if you give my the APO

Heck, with the lack of skilled english you can make a lot of money just writing technical manuals for oil comps, and in a few months the english market will be (somewhat) opened. (or so the rumours floating around the ESL boards go).

apparently my grandfather was ordered to do some pretty haneous sh*t.

after his death, i read his journal he kept during the war some of the ink is smudged with tears / rain, but i believe the former.

Hey everyone. Sorry to make a thread and run but I had to post and run.

I'm in the good ole US of A. We were originally supposed to be apart of the 4th ID but somewhere along the way we got switched to the 1st Cav. When our orders got changed we became apart of 3rd Corp which immediately chaged us from going over to Iraq to staying here for the time being. Until the rest of 3rd Corp gets back from the desert we stay here at Fort Sill. When they get back, we could be sent over as replacements. We have been at Fort Hood Texas for a while and now we are at Fort Sill Oklahoma.

We had our veichles on the rails ready to ship out when we got the orders from our new masters to stand down and wait. Loading the rails was where I nearly broke my ribs trying to keep one of the females in my company from falling off the side. They are still sore, but its nothing a few drinks don't help. It sucks being here but it can always be worse I suppose. I guess when we get over there, the days here will seem like paradise.
