Indonesia attacked the region of Aceh on Sumatra just a day ago.

The movement for freedom of Achen is fighting for independant muslim state. Sharia law and all.

Indonesia itself is more secular. Also, there is plenty of oil in the area.

This is interesting because Indonesia last year gave independance to East Timor, which also has some oil reserves, and is mostly christian (former Portugese colony)

So, whose side are you on? The secular government or is independance something even muslim hardliners are entitled to?

I know way too little about this. I know the facts VetLegion posted, but other than that, I have no facts on their cause and Indonesias claims. I don't know what they are, I don't know the history or anything. I have a little thingie against sharia law, but if the claims are legit.. I don't know I need more facts.

Then again this question is important and tough. They want to install sharia laws. Now that oppresses people for sure. But if their claims for their own place is legit.. what can we do? Should we do anything, if that's what they want? I say if it is legit, give them what they want and then watch closely if they start trouble. If not, great. If they do? Well well well then we have another shooting range. But in principal, I'd give them what they want, IF they are legit with it.

Ouzo can actually kill you.

You have to know the drill though. If you can't take it, water it down with either ice or cold water.

And it;s not to be drunk on itself but with small spicy delights. NorthWestern Europe is full of shite when it comes to drinking. They just drink loads, become hammered and start acting like complete idiots every weekend.

Pathetic sight. In Greece there are even bars which are exclusive for "english" since they get so drunk pigs it's better to leave the drunk pigs alone.
