There is a multiple of reasons listed in Norwegian media as to why we are targeted. My belief is that there are two main contributors. 1. As mentioned earlier, Norway has held a high profile in peace negotiations, and especially with the Oslo accords. The word Oslo is not so much associated in the Arab world with Norway, as it is with the disappointment of the OSLO accords. Ayman al-Zawahri, the second in command in Al-Qaida, is involved in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He is also the man on the tape that was presented by Al Jazera yesterday.
2. Norway's involvement in Afghanistan. Norway had together with a few F-16 fighters, also a quite an amount of Special Forces troops in Afghanistan. Specialists in mountain and winter warfare, that was and still is involved in cleaning out Al-Qaida from Afghanistan.
Ayman al-Zawahri is reported to have lost his family in the bombings and is therefore probably extra pissed at anyone who was involved in Arial bombardment in Afghanistan.

What's up with these Scandinavians giving refugee status to Islamic Militants? As I recall the Danes let leader of the main Islamic militant group in Chechneya stay in their country and now the Norweigens let the leader Ansar Al-Islam hide in Norway. Atleast the Norweigens have gotten wise and are kicking that scum out.
