Weird error...about fed up. Increase the size of your Attachments

Ok, I've tried just about everything that I could think of or find on the boards to get this game to work....video drivers are updated, updated windows, turned off intro movies, etc....now I get into the game and shortly after starting the tutorial the game crashes me to the desktop with this error message:
.\art\construction_dock.bh3 does not exist for pre-transform batch transform

I have no idea what this means. My computer basically goes haywire after this and I am forced to reboot. Anybody have any more ideas on what might be going on other than that this is easily the most buggy piece of software released since Pool of Radiance?<---(worst insult I could think of)

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

something else that is very weird...I cannot uninstall the game. It will not uninstall from the start menu option or from the add/remove program box from the control panel. I've never had that happen before...anybody else have that problem?

Enter the AD-FREE zone

grux,

In a directory called "art" off of your main game directory, you should have a file called "construction_dock.bh3". It's probably missing. If it is missing, it either was deleted after installation or your installation failed. Have you tried reinstalling over the original installation?

thanks Get a bigger avatar today!

Thanks for the response...sorry for the tone of my message last night. I was just a bit frustrated at the time. I was past the point of thinking straight. I got the game to uninstall by removing the cd and then reinserting it and then following the uninstall option that popped up. I'm not sure why that did not occur to me last night. After uninstalling, I defragged and then reinstalled and it has worked fine so far....played for a couple of hours earlier with no problems. Hopefully it stays that way because I'm having a blast so far.
