Huh
Apolyton is magic place, all we are magic creatures and the forum is full of magic. I'll post info on some spells here... Remember, that postcoubt is kind of mana.

Spam - The simpliest spell. Even first level creatures can cast this spell. This spell reduces moral of all targeted creatures, but can make other hostile towards you.

Conclusion - Each creature with 2+ Charisme can cast this spell. Target creature makes a conclusion about the caster and improves his opinion on caster.

Paralize - High level mages (aka moderators) can cast this spell. Target creature loses his ability to do anything, but can see everything. After some time (usually few days) the victim regains ability to write.

Dispel area - When used on some thread the threads closes. If the caster adds more mana the thread disappears.

Chain lightning - If the amount of casted spam spells is so large, that great mage (aka admin) loses all his morale, the admin casts this spell on the whole thread. The thread is dispelled, last participant of the thread gets banned and other spam casters recieve minor damage.

Frenzy - This spell causes other creatures to attack each other, while the caster slips away unnoticed. Available only in Troll spellbooks.

Flame
Single-target damage. Its use often results in Flamefests

Flamefest
Area damage. It is not a spell per se but is the result of several creatures using Flame. All creatures in the area are damaged, and the area as a whole has to be Dispelled

Prediction: Any poster can cast this spell, but only the skilled should try. If the prediction is correct experience points are gained, but if not an egg magically materialises on the caster's face.

I can think of a couple more of those moderator-only spells:

Teleport
Discussion is teleported to another forum. Unless sufficient mana is used, a residual image will remain.

Clone
An exact replica of the discussion is created.

Transform
The contents of a post or the identity (=profile) of an individual is altered.

Cloak
A discussion becomes invisible to all but the most powerful creatures (i.e. admins).

Uncloak
Undoes above spell; can only be performed by those who can still see the discussion.

Fuse
Several discussions are merged into one.

Dissect
One discussion is split into several smaller ones.

Ming's Magnificient Mansion
Can only be cast by Moderator prestige class. When cast target poster is trapped in Mingapulco.

EVOLUTION - Spell cast by the mysterious SETTLER2 being, it causes a denizen to gain more PRESTIGE.

TROLL - Enrages a specific target and has a 50/50 chance of lowering their prestiege (Depending on both your prestiege and their TROLL VALUE)

DEATH - This spell is cast by highly prestigious users (but not gods). A comibation of SPAM and TROLL, death causes a thread to, well, die.

RETREAT - A spell often cast when the user is losing a battle, however the user suffers a prestiege loss.

SUMMON[/b = Summons the forces of the gods against the victim. However it may backfire.

[b]NAME CALL - Call names to the victim in order to attempt to lower their prestiege. However, there is a 25 percent chance you will suffer a major prestiege loss.

DL - Ye who casts this spell will create an entirely new person and have complete control over that person. However, this spell is one of the 8 major sins and if you are found using it, you will die.
