Yes, I do use KaZaA, my user name there is chegitz@kazaa or something like that. I imagine che_guevara and its itterations are rather common on the net, seeing as the real Che is something on the order of a messianic figure for many. I always refer to myself as chegitz or cg if I'm being lazy.
If you see a chegitz or chegitz guevara out there, it's gotta be me. Chegitz is not the name of the real El Che. It's a play on words. It's a Yiddish word which means, depending upon whom you ask: gentile, punk kid, gentile thug, *******. It comes from a Hebrew word which means, roughly, disgusting thing like a snake or centipede or slug. A proper transliteration would be shaygitz, but then the verbal pun (Che is pronouced shay) doesn't carry over to a visual one, so I changed the spelling.
Anyway, many, many years ago, a couple of my Jewish comrades were calling me names in Yiddish (meshugenah, etc.)  and when they got to shaygitz, I was like, "Shaygitz, yeah, Shaygitz Guevara, that's me." They groaned, and that was the end of that, until I was trying to come up with a suitable nom de net. It has since become my nom de plume as I am published under that name as well.
Speer, Bunnygrrl wears a blonde wig because she can. Black women secret #1, good hair most likely isn't in the genes. If you see a Black woman with great hair, she's got extensions, a weave, or a wig on. I have only met one Black woman whose hair was as soft and flexible as non-Black hair, and I'm not 100% sure about that.
When she was trying out wigs in the store (stores are univerally owned by Koreans and shopped by Black people--why, I dunno, that's just the way the universe works) she was trying to decide between a blonde wig and a darker one, and all the women in the store told her to go with the blonde. When she's working as a coat check girl in some of Chicago's trendiest nightclubs, she made more money in tips when she wore a blonde wig. When she wears blonde, she gets a lot of attention. She's had two or three blonde wigs, and right now she's got half-blonde extensions in (so it looks like her roots grew out), very cute.

There's perms and relaxers that make hair look 'white'... and they're a lot safer than the lye or whatever the hell people used fifty years ago...
and you must not be around too many black people cause there's a surprisingly high number of even dark skinned girls with 100% natural 'good' hair. it just shows up. it don't seem to make sense but it do if you think about it... it's the american indian and/or white slaver genes coming out. of course it's still a rarity, but there's still a good number of them.
and don't forget the millions of light-skinned girls who got that good hair.

Speer, relaxers, safer as they are, still result in hair that is stiff and course. Furthermore, I would suggest that Black girls who have good hair are either very rare or lying to you. Don't forget, I know a lot of bougeois Black folks from college, middle class folks who prided themselves on light skin and "good hair."
Rothy, if you're refering to Chegitz Guevara's Socialist Regroupment Pages, yes, those were mine, back in the day, when I still had a school account. There are still a rather large number of links to those non-existent pages, mainly because I had really good coverage of the 1995(?) French General strike. It got to be too much work to keep up while trying to go to school and work, however. I still have plans to redo the site . . . eventually. www.chegitz.net
