	RON will not start Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

Someone please help! I installed the game, it says it has installed correctly. The user agreement comes up. I click agree and the game never starts! I have been in contact with Microsoft support for 4 days now...no help has been forthcoming. I have a 1.2 GhZ AMD Athlon, windows ME

i have 1.2 ghz and windows ME too and it's very tricky starting everytime. i have to open through windows explore (not internet explorer) at program files/microsoft games/rise of nations and choose the file named 'nations'

sometimes it will still minimize and i'll have to click it and press enter. if that doesn't work, i have ctr+alt+del out of it and try to start thru file named 'RISE'

and if that doesn't work, i have to restart machine and try over again. it's pretty bad but hopefully they'll fix it in the patch.

take a look at other posts if this doesn't help and there's others with similar problems.

I have the same problems.
When i try to launch the game, it appers the window with the logo of Rise Of Nations.
After that, the game return to desktop, and in the tray bar appears the icon of rise of nations. If i click on that, the game won't start.......

My sistem operation is Windows ME

My PC configuration is
AMD 1700
256 DDR RAM
GEFORCE 2 MX 400

Someone help me

Hi,
Have a possible solution for you. Try setting your "SkipIntroMovies" to 1 in rise2.ini (same directory as rise.exe).
It should be fixed in Patch 2.
