Now if I can just get some consistency down. I drove the green on a 350 par 4 today scaring the hell out of the guys who were putting and then 3 putted for a par . My next drive was a duck hook dribbler that went about 200 yards up the fairway, and followed that up with a 365 yard drive on a par 5 leaving me with a 3/4 PW to the green. But I suspect the courses we'll be playing won't be so accomodating to long, inaccurate drives.


Btw, are there any discount golf outlets up there? I really need a decent putter and don't want to spend a fortune!!! Oh yeah, will I need to bring my civ CD?

Don't forget. All the courses we will be playing require collared shirts. You can wear jeans at Steeple, but Kemper has a no jeans policy. I'm sure I have a few extra putters laying around, I haven't needed to switch in quite a while.

Good news, I think I just snagged a set of clubs for you. I just have to arrange to pick them up. They're my old set so you should enjoy them. 845 knockoffs on the irons. some tightlie knockoffs for woods, and for a driver, THE MANNY (ming will get the reference.) And it should come with shoes that will fit you, that have only been worn once or twice.
