	PTW Unit problem Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

Hello. I am glad I found this message board, because I have a problem.

I have been playing Civilization 3 and the Play the World Expansion for about a week now. During my last couple of games, I have been having a problem with being able to build certain units though all prerequisites for their construction are (seem) met. For instance, during my last game, after discovering the appropriate technology and having access to all the necessary resources, I found myself unable to build medieval infantry. I was able to build pikemen, however.

Late in the game, the only modern unit I could build after infantry, was marines and nuclear submarines. Hmm.

Early in the game, during the ancient era and early expansion, I often find myself unable to build warriors in newly founded cities.

Perhaps one of you might be able to offer some assistance and explain to me what I am missing? Thanks.--Roy

It sounds like you have some sort of bug, try uninstalling/reinstalling. There's no way that you shouldn't be able to build Warriors, they're a basic unit in the game.

For a second, my thought was that you wern't building roads to the resources (When I started playing I would have a resource in my territory, but was unable to access it...I did not realize you had to build roads), but when you said you could not build warriors...hmmm...I'm with Willem, sounds like you should try to reinstall.
