	Is there something wrong with me? Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

Sava mentioned I needed serious help. But how can I get help if I don't know what is wrong with me. I'd like to know if I'm doing something wrong. I'm sorry I don't think like Sava, but I can't help it. I had a very ****ed up childhood. Sorry.

I've been accused of being selfish and uncaring. I'm thinking about becoming a socialist so people won't see me that way. How do I prove that I care about other people? Socialists care about all people don't they?

I'm starting to think I really don't belong here. Sometimes I feel like I don't belong on this planet. I'm just not like other people. If I could find a bulletin board with people like me I'd leave here. Although that would probably be a scary place . It's probably a good thing there aren't people like me in the world.

I think it is safe to say there is no one else like me in the entire world. One reason why I chose the name dissident. But it's kind of lonely I tell you.

What the hell is wrong with me? Why can I not be like other people?

I look at women putting their children in their washing machine- yet women like her are considered normal, and I'm considered a freak? Why? I think of myself as normal and these violent sociopaths as freaks. I don't understand.

I'm not going to make a poll, because I don't want to see all yes votes. My self esteem is already pretty low right now.

Don't worry bout it. Since I don't know you IRL, I can say you're probably one of the more saner people here at Apolyton.

diss, who cares what sava thinks? You have to inderstand the reletivity of any such remarks anyone makes. To sava, you may be weird, but he is just as weird to you. I have a WHOLE lot more in common with you than i do with sava. sava is weird to me, and you are normal. Everyone is a varying degree of weird or normal to all the different people, as we all come from different walks of life.

You shouldnt get down on what strange people on the internet say about you. If you express an opinion in a public place, be prepared to accept the criticisms of it. To me, thats part of the fun of Poly OT. You get to see a BUNCH of different viewpoints and perspectives on all sorts of issues.

I'm not sure you need Help diss, not many people are caring about the world ect.

I am generally an far right wing capitalist but i have my socialist days too ...... So long as you can justify what you believe it, that usually annoys the lefties who turn to telling you that you need help

Don't sweat it Diss, the world would be unbearable if everyone was "normal". Being an individual with your own views is important.

Most of the people on this planet are too wrapped up in their moronic little lives to worry or care about much else. That is their loss and why they do stupid or dangerous things when under pressure and the fabric of their lives starts to come apart. Striking the right balance between unaware and paranoia is an essential part of being human and it takes a lot of work.

If I were world dictator the measures I would impose now are different from, but just as radical as, those I would have done 20 years ago. As you get older you get better at hiding it and blending in without giving up. Just give yourself time.

The first step is to simply like yourself. Once you do that it has a major effect on how others perceive you and everything else follows on.

People have far more in common than differences. One thing that makes people different is how they view the world - whether they like nice and simple rules, or realistic models that are robust.

In my view, the "shallow" people are far happier. Ignorance is bliss.

There's nothing wrong with you Dissident. You just have a more complex view of the world than most. Personally, I couldn't stand being on intimate terms with about 98% of humanity.

The point here is that the 2% of people who consider the complex view are the ones with any hope of changing it. The others just don't get the subtlety factor and are doomed in their delusions. I don't mean that they are mentally ill as such - just that acceptance is far easier than change for the better, and easier than change in general.

Well, I for one seriously believe the world's population should be culled to about 5 million, you have to be licensed to have children, and the mideast conflict should be solved with a few strategically placed tactical planet-busters.

Anyways, this isn't about political views. Everyone calls me a leftist, commie, socialist, etc; but I'm not the member of any organization. I don't push any party agenda. I just speak my mind and what makes sense to me. Some of my stronger views coincide with some of the liberal posters, but I also have many views that would be viewed as right. Even Azazel called me a damn Capitalist!

This is objectively true for anybody; but I suppose you mean that you are exceptional and that for this reason you cannot be understood by all others. This though is dangerous because it built a barreer between you and the other. The positive side is that being a bit original is not being different : it is being the same in another way, and that make debates interesting.
