a head a messy desktop like this, once, monolith.

Diss, the desktop above is From Mac, and the ones before were mostly WinXP. I am still using Win98, but you CAN make a nice desktop there, too. look for my desktop from a few pages back.

I don't care for all that fancy **** anyways. I like my task bar on auto-hide. And I don't want any other crap on my screen except my background and my icons to quickly get into my games and other programs.

You cannot install theme packs into default winxp, can you? Unless you hack some system file, or so I was told.

Right, you need a hacked .dll to allow 3rd party themes. StyleXP installs it, or you can manually do it if you're uber-1337.

It's faster and far more stable than stuff that sit on top of the interface like Stardock's.

Yep, you da get a point for recognising your own desktop

(was too lazy to make one of my own, which is awful anyone and would have (again ) shown a pic of my cat, don't want to overuse them ).
