	Suffering from ads?

I thought the GL generation was higher on defense. Like promotions are automatic for a unit if it wins two battles on a single turn and then again if he wins a third or a 4th even. Maybe that doesn't apply to GL, but it does apply to reaching elite status quicker, does it not?

The reason they see our map as more valuable is that we have mapped out CDG and part of GCA while they have no clue as to what those two Civs have.

Can we ask them to next research Philosophy? Perhaps if they get Math from CDG they will have time to finnish that before we finnish CoL....

That's correct. The odds for generating a leader are greater for individual battles, but usually while on defense you'll fight more battles, so the overall chance may be greater. It's certainly good for promotions, since you can defend multiple times during a turn with one unit, but until you get Tanks and the blitz ability, you can only attack once per turn.
