As reported in the 430 BC thread, Barcelona has more corruption now. It will grow this turn to size 5 again.
Since we need a new Gallley ASAP, please, set the new WF to 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 . It will force the growth to 1 food per turn, but as soon as New Madrid will expand its borders, in 9 turns from now, Barcelona will work it's #9 tile again and recover the growth rate of 2 food per turn.

Note: My girlfriend's family is staying with us this month and living in our computer room. While I will have SOME access from home, most of my access will be from work. I have installed CivPTW at work and played the save this morning. I may do this several times this month. Please have orders prepared in advance.
Results
ND has two horsemen and their scout Picahulu watching our eastern border.
Mil Strengths remain the same: Weak to Vox & GS, Ave to ND & Lego, Strong to GoW.
New GoW cities: Macao in middle of their territory, Tatung to their south-west.
military:
Armada Guard (both) E, E
Jungle Patrol E
Watch Rider FORT
Bulger FORT
Mountain Watch W, UPGRADE
Santiago Guard SW, W, W (back to Santiago)
Santiago Charger UPGRADE
Leon Guard UPGRADE
Feocalvos E, E, FORT
Valencia Bounty Hunter NW
Madrid Expedition NW, attacks Barb Camp, 25g, no damage.
GuObs S
Nina S, NW, N
Santa Maria N, N, NE
workers:
(no orders posted in advance for this turn!)
Kings + Barcelona ROAD
Ruby worker group moves SE
Arnelos worker crew moves NW, MINES
Astro Worker group (3) moves SE into Salamanca
cities:
Salamanca WF kept on Flood Plains. By moving to forest, worker complete in 2, but wastes 2 sheilds. We should move WF to forest next turn, please make order, same results.
No corruption in Salamanca at all, it is now linked up.
Pamplona finished Temple. Started on worker.
Barcelona: WF can't be 1-5-6-7-8 due to lack of food and starvation, no extra food in the box. Changed WF to 4-5-6-7-8 instead, max production and 1 extra food. Galley in 6.

Bummer, I should have checked more carefully. Switching to the NW hills would have synched things nicely. Switching to the forest next turn will work, but only if it doesn't go to Pamplona...

Togas and Dejon, Toledo is but poorly defended, like bilbao, why keep so little citydefences in those cities with ND horsemen near? I'd like to see that we move some stronger defensive units to these bordercities. That is also a message to ND: we have good defences, you have no chance to win in case you would attack us.
Aidun |
We will have to strenghten that area in time. I don't expect an ND offensive from that direction in the near future though. We do need more defensive units all around though - I will be asking for them after I upgrade the existing ones.
