	PAC Nominations Enter the AD-FREE zone

Comrades, with the new constitution implemented the time now comes to officially elect deputies of the Peoples' Advisory Council. No longer will the Council consist of all Party members, according to Article 18 Clause 1 of the 2109 Constitution of the Human Hive, the PAC will now consist of 5 deputies. As such the CCC requests that Party members put nominations forward for the positions.

Well the new government chart is up in the constitution thread, take a look at it and please post the positions you're interested in running for, elections WILL be held Thursday, all nominations have to be in by tomorrow. Those of you wishing to keep the posts you currently have please state your intentions here again, as well as the positions you occupy.

NOTE: This does not apply to the Commissioners of Public Safety and General Security.

Also, we need someone to run for the position of President of the Presidium of Prefects, they will act as Prefect of all bases until prefectures are declared.

I will be away this weekend, thus I authorize the Deputy Chairman to conduct the elections with the current candidates, the CCC will accept more candidates for the vacant positions, but the filled positions are closed.

The new government will take office on Saturday.

Just a procedural note, the elections to be conducted are ONLY for the PAC deputy candidates, the PAC deputies will then in private vote to elect the People's Ministers, and the other positions (check the Constitution for further details on election procedures). If there are any conflicting interpretations of the Constitution, Comrades Jamski and HongHu of the CCC are formally given the temporary power by the Chairman to ensure the quick transition to the new government. Comrade Commissioner Frankychan is temporarily appointed by the Chairman to the CCC to act on behalf of the Chairman and vote on CCC matters with the full power of the Chairmanship, but the power is only to be exercised in case consensus cannot be reached within the CCC on the actions to be taken.
