	How to WIN as the Hive Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

More strat suggestions for the HIVE :

We MUST build thousands of bases on close spacings. Every base should be supporting 2 police units and 2+ formers. We MUST get the Weather Paradigm. We MUST get the Planetary Transit Van. We MUST get the HGP. We can DOMINATE massively if we can simplely get ENOUGH BASES. We need about 70-90 on a map of this size, and we need them soon.

To make sure we get these SPs - we should start thinking now about cashing artifacts to help building - not for techs. Perhaps we should start the Hive on the WP pretty soon. This project is a game winner.

I'm not up to date right now, but is anyone currently building the Weather Paradigm right now?

I agree that the sooner we can obtain either the Weather Paradigm (WP) or the Human Genome Project (HGP) the better. A bonus would be the Planetary Transit System (PTS).

Personally, I would forego The Merchant Exchange (ME) because, personally, I think we can use the resources we would pour into it for more applicable and potentially useful things.

It's going to be tough race to get the WP, as every human faction will be going for it. We should begin it as quickly as possible. I would also like to get the Command Nexus if we miss out on any of first choice SPs.

Just wondering, in the early phase, would it be more efficient use of the land to building lots of cities close together? (is it called Infinite Chaining Cities?)

Have the Drones started on a SP? Also, is there a cost penalty for switching SP during construction? I was afraid the drones may get the WP.

Also should we worry about building a secret project on a costal base, even if it is a Capital? Just, paranoid what sneaky things the pirates can do.

Not just in the early game but in the whole game..... I play the Hive on a 1-2 square spacing, nice and tight. The amazing millitary numbers when one has 60+ bases, each capable of supporting 4 or more units for free more than makes up for the fact that the bases won't get soooooo big. (untill the hydroponic satellites are up )

Oh, and its called ICS - infinite city sleaze.

The Drones have started the Merchant Exchange, and will probably swicth over to WP when they get the necessray tech, if we seriosuly want that project, we had better start it soon. Ideally, after we have built at leats one former and can start mining minerals.

If we can get the WP built at the Hive, it ay be in our interest to raise the terrain to turn that nutrient resourse into a pod. There are two monoliths there already.

Hmmm - in both the playtest games Roze got the WP at around 2132, and Miriam the CDF a year later. They must have cashed in the handful of trance armored drop crawlers I set to lurk for 30 years

Myself and Jamski were discussing this earlier, and we need bases, more bases, and even more bases. I fully back the proposal, in fact we should be concentrating on pumping out colony pods. 3 per base until we start producing anything else in that base.

We're off on a slow start, but as soon as we get a few more bases out there, and continuously expand, we'll be well on out way to victory.

We should think about starting the WP right away at fellowship city though (we have the tech I believe), aka after this former is done. We can pump out colony pods at the other two bases as this one isn't going to grow as quickly, plus it will be a good industrial base afterwards because of it's reliatively high pop to other bases (didn't produce any colony pods). Just a thought, once again not my department.
