As for your computer choices, the reason that you haven't had any feedback is because you are making a sensible choice (if paying a lot to get it all new - personally I buy practically everything sold as tested and warrantied on ebay).

So because you are sensible - no feedback.

Only snag I can see is a couple of programs might not like running that fast - strange but true. Oh yes, I'd wait to test your system before you upgrade your gfx card - you may well find that you don't really need to (hang on a minute - you like Viet Cong - well, I'd still wait. Hardware always gets cheaper, yes?)

Well thanks for the comments... yeah I did a lot of searching. Newegg turned out the most sensible with the prices I guess out of all the ones I looked at.

Yeah I know about programs. Yeah I play Vietcong, it works with my current hardware but I have concern my current will not be enough for future games coming out, like Doom 3 and newer World War 2 FPS games. I'll hold off on the video card for now.

400W should be plenty. A 350W would do equally well - it's not usually the processor and mainboard that draw most power, it's the flipping drives. Imagine having a RAID server - you can see why some need more power.

MIND YOU, a higher capacity PSU will usually run cooler - so it's best to overestimate rather than under.

Try your present one - it will probably be fine.

Turns out it is Enermax (or something like that) and it is 420 watts, not 400..
