My mother in law is an Assembly of God freak and keeps this bullshit in her bathroom. As a baptized (but lapsed) Catholic, I've always been really impressed (*sarcasm*) that she even bothers to let me in the house.
It has been an issue from day one, and most likely the reasonn (couldn't be my personality or anything) that she has sought to undermine my relationship with her daughter every step of the way.
God save us from religious zealot who also happen to be stupid.
One of the most frustrating types of people out there.

I f*cking hate people like that. Theben's best friend's wife's mother used to pull BS like that, even going so far as trying to get her son to go kill her son-in-law. She claimed he was trying to kidnap his wife because they were moving to Bremerton, WA. Fortunately, the dude wasn't inclined to kill anyone and called his sister to find out what was really going on.
