	Anyone want to play (& actually finish) a Civ II game? Increase the size of your Attachments

I've never actually finished a Civ II game with more than two players. This is quite irksome. How about it? Some strong players for an all out, only the strong survive, fight to thte future Civ II matchup. The more the merrier but if you're gonna quit or don't think you can play to the end please don't join. Four would probably be ideal.

Any takers?

By the way, I'm flexable with specs, King, Emp, Diety, Normal World, Large One, whatever. Got to be 1x1 though.

I agree to those rules. Do people want A.I. or no A.I.? I am fine either way.

How about a 6:30 or 7:30pm (11:30pm-12:30am GMT) start on Wednesday night? I'd like to play for at least two to three hours to start. Also I'd like to finish within two weeks (before June 23rd) because I'm moving at that time. I can probably play more Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday night (EST).

Is the aprox 12:30AM GMT start (Wed. night / technically Thurs. morning) ok for everyone?

I won't be home at that time unfortunatly Makeo... I probably won't be available until about 7:30 (12:30) because I won't be at home until that time (I thought I could make it earlier but it seems I can't).

I was thinking, maybe it'd be best if I got two games going, one with U.S. and Europeans and one with U.S. & Aussies, maybe just three or four players each. From my experience any more than four not only takes forever but never gets finished.

I think four is the ideal #. The only problem is that this coming week (June 15th-21st) is my last week in NY (and with cable modem) and after that my access to the Internet (and time available online) will be much less.

Well anyway, tonight I'm tired and tommorrow and Saturday I promised my GF I'd try not to abandon her for the comp. but next week I am pretty flexable. Post your times and hopefully we can get at least one game going.

By the way, I have no problem playing people from all over the globe at the same time, I just really want a game where everyone can somehow all get together again.

I am often around early morning, but my hours are not 'regular' in any way. If I am online it means I've been working most the night and am ready for a distraction.

If you intent to arrange two games you must post about your intentions to do that! Now you started a game and all thought it was the real one! The good players was almost missed(not in the game)...

I sign up! I am very flexible on playtimes, but would prefer a later start like 10 PM EST on Wednesday.

Please let only experienced players join, otherwise you get a couple of quitters!

And of course only real Civ 2! That means 1x1x deity random world village only.

I'm gonna be pretty busy the rest of this week and on Sunday I am moving. When I move I won't have my cable modem anymore and won't have as much time for online gaming, etc.

If you'd like to use this thread to arrange a game feel free though but unfortunatly I won't be able to join for the long haul so I won't join at all (ryhme ). Take it easy Apolytoners, don't forget Civ II, when I get settled and have more time I'd still like to play a big tourny (maybe at the end of the summer). It would be a stark future if everyone moved on from Civ II!

Yes, all other settings are just for noobs and not how the game was ment to be played
