Just count your blessings. The UK has ridiuclously high call charges.
Personally I pay for 150 hours Internet time a month - but broadband would be cheaper.
Shame my local bb provider are such ****heads.

I have a phone line
just no phone
my hosuemate jsut left, and she had the phone
so I have no phone until I get out and buy one
not even sure where youwould do such a thing

Hmm... if you had a regular modem plugged in you could use a software package like Supervoice.
Phones being mostly solid state (only moving parts are the dialler) pretty much any phone should do.
I picked mine up for £1 at a local market stall.

there is a mall 20 minutes walk away, a mall might have one
