I don't understand your question in the post, Harry, but to answer the title: There is something wrong. I have problems using the forums for the time being, since I just get errors and looooong loading times now. Might be a sign telling me to go to bed!

I think the influx of Rise of Nations traffic is causing problems. Things should calm down in a week or two - we always have server trouble whenever one of the titles 'poly covers is released.

I think there is more widespread trouble on the net, a vast number of sites are down or slow and have been that way for a few days.

The net is dying!

On the bright side, at least that means Poly might be ok.

I agree, just compare the sizes of the two MP groups. Civ2's is larger, despite being the older game.

Skanky, I think that might be so (the net as a whole having problems.) I've gotten "Server too busy" messages on sites that I never knew they even had the messages.
