I currently cannot play Civ 3 because it says it misses files.. HOWEVER.. i can neither DE-install nor RE-install, removing the folder and registry wont work either (curiously.. the registry entries reappear everytime)
who knows what i can do to fix the problem???

the problem is.. if i choose install.. it doesn't even give me the chance to install.. it just starts "deleting" (doesn't matter what i select: install, deinstall, reinstall)... does "something" for about 5 secs and then its done.. and nothing is changed

worked my way around the problem...
turns out the game was installed on another PC in the network, so i copied the entire folder.. i can play again, though i doubt a decent deinstall will be possible
