Hi Guys
I have just got the Civ III Play the World upgrade today.
The game plays perfect and I can get online with it but after installing the patch the game keeps asking for the Cd.
Does anyone know how to fix this.

Put the CD in the drive. It must be there to play.

The patch 1.21 for PTW, dont work for the U.K. version. You must look for the 1.14 U.K. Patch.
In the next week, Firaxis will release the 1.21 WorldWide patch. When it will be out, go download it... but for now, you just can install the 1.14.
The U.S. and U.K(european) version of PTW dont use the same copy protection on the CD that's why the patch is not compatible.
