I also think this idea is horrible, but for a slightly different reason.

CDG could use this as an opportunity to attack. While our forces are going through their terrain, they could launch an assault on them, while another force marches north on us, knowing that our forces must be diminished.

Not that I think that we would not be able to handle them, but I don't think we should hand them an opportunity to start our GA.

This of course can also be a CFC-CDG evil plan, like dejon said to attack our troops within their territory. Reputation you say? Screw it, as long as CFC and CDG are allies, reputation means BS... CFC knows that WE are the biggest threat in the long term to their dominance of the continent and the sooner they can get one to wipe us out the better.

Even if CDG does not succeed, still, it would have cost us damage which IMO is not worth it. Neither would any gains by attacking GCA.

If anything we can give "moral" support, but that's prettuy much the most I'd be willing to give in to. The only alliance I would support would be a CFC-Poly alliance against CDG-GCA. Anything other is unacceptable.

why dont we let them fight at each other , then we move in and take what we want , ..... from all , .....

we should try to see if we cant provoke wars between them while we are building our empire , .....

Much as I hate to agree with Panag about anything...

I think he's right here. We should politely stand off and then celebrate in private. Everyone else is going to war and we're staying out of it- isn't that EXACTLY what we want?

now , lets just hope they dont all turn against us , but that is a very unlikely scenario , ....

let them fight , and when they are looking at some battlefield we take what we want , i sounds selfish but we should not care about the others , they have yet to do us any favors , look at the way they look at us with this stupid treaty , look at the way how the deal with us , ...... they shall pay for that attitude , .....

lets build our nation and get a strong army and then we just take what we want , regardless of to whom it belongs , ..... they dont care about us , so we should not care about them , ......

just make sure we got a strong flexible modern army at all times and the production capabilities to produce new units at a high rate , .....

now lets focus our efforts on republic and loads of money to rush and invest in out empire

Assume CFC decides to attack GCA or vice versa.

CDG has said it will not get involved unless we do.

CDG might attack GCA, but GCA will not attack CDG.

CDG will be building more units in case it decides to attack GCA on its own accord, and will build fewer cities.

Thus, the result is CDG has more units, less useless jungle cities, and will be a harder nut to crack when we decide to destroy them.

Guess that means that they are worried about what we'll do. Gee and I thought we were trustworthy northern neihbors....

Guess we need to make them feel a bit more at ease somehow so they will screw up enough to make our lives easier when we crush them like bugs. The settlement agreement will probally go a long way towards this. Possibly if we get a NAP (loopholed to end when violence breaks out of course), then that will be enough to make them feel secure?

or they have a secret deal somehow , of the type that lets us declare war , let us do the hardwork and they run away with the goods , ......
