I do have exams, but they don't take up a whole lot of time because those days are only half days. They start on the 20th.

Basically, there will be absolutely no problem with making time.

GF has done a fantastic job guiding the team so far

Panzer has also shown, he can manage the team as equally well during GF's absence.

Both of you have been superb contributors to our team.

I cannot vote on who will do the job better, so I choose Panzer, simply because I like to see the top job rotated around to all those members who want to have a go.

Crud, I knew this Republic concept was a bad idea. Now that usurper, Panzer32 and his Roundheads are stealing the throne.

I have already dispatched the Imperial family to the estates of ArchDuke Donegeal, one of my most loyal supporters for safety in the case that these Usurpers start hungering for Imperial blood..........

I don't think the republic thing was a bad idea, just that there is too little participation for it to have been effective, but the idea was good IMO.

Anyway, my vote is for Panzer for exactly the same reasons H_E gave: rotation of command. Both have done a good job, and both deserve the spot, but I don't want this to end up like Togas' dictatorship over at RP...

I don't think Republic was a bad idea (originally I was the only one who supported it) but I have to roleplay somewhat to make it sound good.

Here is my position. I tried to give everyone a chance to be involved with the game, I didn't feel comfortable just playing the turns and would hold on to it after I forwarded the save to the rest of the team so that anyone who wanted to could put in feedback. Apparently, I was wrong in my style.

I came back and planned on staying in the sidelines and working my way back to being active but it appears feedback and comments are ignored and Panzer just does what he wants. If I appeared to have done this while I was Emperor I apologize I seriously tried to get as many people involved as possible.

It does appear that the team no longer wants me involved with the game and I am willing to respect that and bow out if that is the decision. I plan on staying our of MasterZen and Panzer's way and allowing them to make the decisions and trying to support their positions.

This will be difficult for me because my personality is such that I do not typically hesitate to point out what I feel is the optimal path and refuse to back down until someone convinces me I am in error (doesn't happen often, but I can be swayed to a different position).

My current goal is to roleplay a religious fanatic and exile in Espania so pay no heed to my ramblings they are simply roleplay.

I definitely bear neither Panzer nor anyone else illwill or bad feelings. I don't necessarily agree with their style or tactics but that is strictly my personal opinion and they had to sit through my gameplay which they disagreed with so its not any different for me.

Anyway, this should give me the opportunity to take up some official duties at CDG in ISDG and spend more time on the potential $Mini-Game.

I for one do not mind criticism of my actions, in fact I welcome it, and yes, I too am a tough nut to crack sometimes, but oh well, persistence is a useful trait IMO... What I wouldn't like is for everyone to say, "yes, you are right, I support you" bla bla bla when they don't. I try and be right all the time but you know that it is not always humanly possible to do so.

For me it has been a pleasure to serve under you and Panzer. I have learned a lot from you guys as well as the other members. I hope that just because you have not won this election you "fade away" MacArthur style. You are still our CoW and war is on the horizon....

Have I been doing just what I want, or have I not been doing just what you want. When you were emperor, I basically felt isolated from the save, as you apparently had a larger plan at word, and did not tell others. I try to do what the team wants. Please stop me if I do anything too independant.

Please don't. You are the consul of War, and need to command the military units. The main thing is that you don't give detailed orders, so when the turn comes I have to sort of improvise to try and do what you say.

Thanks. I do not bear any grudge towards you, but I do think your tactics were somewhat faulty. But thats for time to tell.

Since it is a tie, I say we continue on with the Civil War concept. Half the Empire supporting the Usurper and half the Empire supporting the Imperial household.

PROPOSED STORY LINE TO BE TOLD IN THE MAIN FORUM:

Warmong Empire in Chaos, Blockheads declare Panzer32 Lord Protector of the Empire, Cultists of War claim Ghengis the Elderly is rightful ruler. In the "Night of a Thousand Wives" the spouses of the Imperial Expeditionary Force chase Panzer32 and his Blockheads into the outer Imperial Cities of Macao and Anyang. Imperial City and the Camps now being run by barefoot women! The Horror! Panzer sets up Protectorate Capital in Macao and nobody understands any of the orders coming from the Council of Wives.

Meanwhile, with constant assassination attempts Ghengis the Elderly and the Imperial Household had fled to Rolespania in hopes of living in exile and garnering military and financial support to march on the empire and oust Panzer the Usurper. (Panzer declares anyone offering support to me will be viewed as an enemy of the Empire). Unfortunately, Darekill the Opportunistic, WarMerchant of Whatever seizes Ghengis the Elderly enroute to RP. The Imperial household makes it to RP, but Darekill holds Ghengis for Ransom.

Meanwhile Ghengis the Merciless, heir to to Ghengis the ELderly, returns with the expeditionary force and vows to reclaim the throne. He marches on Macao and burns it to the ground.

(When Macao reaches size 2 we disband it with a settler and move it to the correct central spot where it was supposed to go and claim the Ghengis the Merciless took no prisoners. At this point the other teams should consider us a joke and think we are so wrapped up in our own roleplaying that we aren't much of a threat.)

Panzer32 is furious and immediately marches on Roleplay to seize the Imperial Household. (Giving us our reason for attacking them, hopefully with all the other stuff and me roleplaying my family's exile in Roleplay they won't see it coming.)

This would be a new tactic using roleplay to as a ruse to lower our next target's guard. I think it somewhat fitting that we use that against the Roleplay team.
