Actually those numbers were not only for conventional arms but the Iraqi military as a whole.

not only do we get to nuke iraq but we would get justification for the war

the USA and GB have forfeited their credibility on this issue. before the war they presented fake "evidences" about WMDs. one could assume that someone, who has that detailed information about WMDs, should be able to find at least some of them after the war.
now, several weeks after the war, nothing, absolutely nothing was found. this doesn´t necessarily prove that Iraq had no WMDs, but it definetly proves that the WMD argument was completely fabricated.
for me it doesn´t really matter what they will find now. it´s irrelevant anyway and most probably a fake.

Actually, and I believe it was MtG who posted that the chemicals were given to Iraq for solely research purposes, in order to basically help find a cure for them. They were never intended to be for military use, but solely for civilian research purposes.
