I think UNIQUE unit have some advantage in..
1. Price
2. Building Speed
3. Unit Stat --> Move faster, have more armor, more damage, more hit point, more rate of fire etc...
but I curious about is this UNIQUE unit have some thing affect to their unit type ?
I mean if this is should be "Archer" but it's just UNIQUE UNIT .. Can I still counter by Light Infantry?
or it'll change their status and I must to check tooltip help only?

UUs are mostly still vulnerable to their counter, with the possible exception of chinese fire lances. It says that they are highly effective against calvalry, and if I remember correctly normal ranged infantry is vulnerable to heavy and light calvalry pre enlightenment age, while the chinese have fire lances before anyone else.

I've been going on the assumption that unique units are treated the same as their class for counter bonuses. I haven't seen anything yet to change my mind. I've played a few games where I never built any of the uniques as Egyptian. The majority of uniques aren't that much better than their regular counterparts, certainly not to a degree that would warrant choosing your Civ over. The special powers are far more important.

it does, but i've noticed that several of the UUs have the same numbers as their counterparts, and some that are different, namly the Inca's Inci Clubman and Maceman, which replace the Javeliner(sp), are stronger but are melee and not ranged units, which makes you wonder if the are really better

I did some testing and when facing counters or the units they counter uniques perform very similarly to their non-unique counterparts. However they win quite easily when facing their non-unique counterparts.

Musketeer: "Powerful in quantity but somewhat slow-firing."
Highlander: "Particularly effective against all forms of enemy infantry."
If you put a Musketeer up against a Musketeer then the winner will have severe damage. If you put a Highlander up against a Musketeer the Highlander wins while taking less damage.
That's part of the reason I play British (aside from their awesome commerce cap benefit) - Highlanders and Black Watch units destroy not only the units they counter would normally counter but the non-unique versions of themselves (ie Musketeers and Riflemen). It offers a large advantage during the Enlightenment and Industrial Ages, and these ages are where much of the game-determining fighting takes place.
I imagine other UU perform in a similar fashion.

On Oracle, what does TO HIT mean?

If you study the unit stats carefully at ronoracle you can see that ranged units all have a 'to hit' value that exceeds 0.
So I think it is meant as a hit 'percentage' for ranged units.

Yeah, If you look closely while fighting, You can see that 15 volksgrenadiers against 15 infantry-the volksgrenadier hit more damage, and receive less damage onto the Infantry, even though They have the same atack, cost, and build speed. That is because the infantry has more vulnerability when fighting Volks. that is as if the Volks have a basical bonus against infantry, or any other unit.
This is just a basic example, however some units like the Mongol horde are excpetionally useful, because they have an increased bonus versus infantry and vilagers, and take less attrition. Mongolia is a very good rush civ, for a rush lover player (like me) but it is no good for long drawn out games, against experienced players. Or try taking some legions and move them on the enemy pikemen. when i did my classical 18 on 18, czarlegion vs pike all pikemen were dead, and there were 15 legions remaining. That does make a big difference!
The Romans are actually very effective against infantry, and it is the best medieval-gunpowder change civ because if you mass legions with javileneers, the legions will cut down the front line soldiers (inf.cavs.)and the javeslineers will get the archers. Whe you get Gunpowder, the javilenners turn into Arcs. Even though I rarely use the Romans in MP or SP, this example combination of UU and Normal U, can be very effective an devastating.
Once again, however, the Romans and the Mongols are not much good after Gunpowder anyway, because they have not got very good specific traits required for later ages, and if they play russians or germans in the modern(industrial,Modern,Information)ages, their units and resouces will soon be cut down by the superior Modern UU's and Modern age civ bonuses [of the better civs].
In conclusion, I do think that the units and bonuses were picked very well in RoN, and by knowing the strategies, every civ can be very deadly (mmmaybe except greeks)
