For treason, which Senor Torquemada will soon be answering to, their can only be one court...the King's!
Let us form a law court in Spain once and for all, appoint Prosecutors and Defenders, and Judges. Ecclesiastical court is one thing, but we shall need the secular court to deal with treason.
But what is this?
How now, egg? What find I here? A Torquemada starting a revolution? Unheard of! You men of Torquemada are loyal and brave, strong and wise, not foolish and brash. And why do you blame the Pope for all Spain's misfortune? Be thou a pea-wit, O Sorry Torquemada?
Nay! That cannot be so...for thou art no Torquemada that I know! This "Tomas" cannot be a real Torquemada, but an imposter! Yay! So it is, so I say! I'll wager 2 gold that he's just a disguised fishmonger of rank and dishonest origin!
So, so, thou stinketh, impudent fishmonger! I clappeth my nose in revulsion! The carp, it wreaketh off thy very marrow! O most sorrowful fishmonger! Know ye not that treason is a crime?
Aye, aye, let us form the secular courts, and bring to justice the treasonous rebels before us.
Don Iago Calamari de Toledo
[ooc] DAVOUT, I'm just glad we've got Torquemadas in this kingdom! [/ooc]

This is an Heresy at itīs maximum stage, but also a rebelious action. An insult against a God-chosen king and against the Father of the Church. Cardinal Calamari can only be correct that it is a fake Torquemada. Either way, this Torquemada/fishmonger/rebel/whateverheis shall be judged accordingly. I shallbe talking to The King and to The Pope about this case and I shall see to it that all proper laws are followed. As a member of the nobilty and as a member of the clergy I shall acomplish mine task.
I kindly ask that all the nobles here present please keep this case confidential. We donīt want the masses to hear these talks about Republikahnishme.
Signed,
Pablo Winterius the I

The Swiss Guards stand up and admit that they were kidding. All of them are severely reprimanded for this idiotic joke, and the commanders all begin to wonder what part of Switzerland these goons came from...
A few days later, a new contingent of guardsmen arrives in town, and the old chaps are sent home.
Torquemada is still in jail, and exceedingly miffed.

[ooc] Pal, killing a whole company of guards is diferent from killing 2 or 3 of them. The prision was said to be in the headquarters of teh Swiss guard, wich has many, many units of soldiers, with interconected rooms, alarm bells, and all the proper arangements. It is impossible for someone to enter, kill them all and leave without alerting people! Besides, if there is no magic in the world we are roleplaying, then let us do a serious roleplay. Even modern, fully equiped elite corps donīt go around killing platoons and battalions, they do invade, accomplish a mission and leave (and we are talking about guys with such thigns as C4 explosive and silencer guns, and all a number of technologic parafernalia).
Well , that is it
