You can get a pretty cheap good laptop from Dell or Gateway. For what you need, you shouldn't have to spend much more than a $1000.

Not for a while yet. Harpoon 4 got taken back by Ubisoft from Ultimation, and delivery slipped back to Fall 2003. Personally I reckon we'll be lucky to see it before 2004 Summer (online multiplay takes a lot of testing).

Here's hoping I'm wrong.
