What all the posers will be wearing in a year... Inflate your Upload Space

let's see how good i am at this... i predict that in the next year or two, all the want to be urbanites in the suburbs will be...

Wearing:

"Free" size black or white tees (the length of 6XL but with XL size shoulders and width)... standard blue jeans or black jeans, usually made by Ecko or Akademik (or however it's spelled), with patches or scribble designs (don't know how to describe them but you'll know when you see them)... hats will be worn normal and the front part won't be curved or nothing... they will be several sizes too big though... hoodies will be rarer and replaced by leather, diamond jackets. I don't really be paying attention to shoes, but expect everyone on Main Street in Springfield to be rocking the Jay-Z and (coming soon) G-Unit kicks and the drop-top timbs

Saying:

"Jawn" meaning anything at all (that's my jawn right there) is already being said from what i've heard.

"Joe" meaning stupid

"Drawling" meaning acting like a ***** (my girl keeps drawling, bothering me about everything)

"Wings" to be bad (that Nelly song wings) there's also the alternative "Jewish" (i'm not playing)

"Dub" meaning twenty (usually dollars) (you can get four free sizes a dub)

Listening to:

Joe Buddens, Jae Hood, and David Banner

yall just wait and see... it's kind of sad how people out in the burbs can't decide what to wear, what to listen to, and what slang to use on their own...

thanks

The only people worse than the posers are the people who genuinely think that those lame words are cool, or that they've got style.

I predict in a year, NUDITY and CLOWN COSTUMES will be all the rage. Expect to see gangs capping each other with large, red, rubber noses and colorful wigs.

Not in my suburbs! Well, I don't really live in suburbs (small city), but in the suburbs in the area, 'posers' constitute approximately 7% of the youth population... Just an estimate of course.

My prediction: Speer will wear all of that, hoping to be cool. His predictions will fail miserably, something entirely different will be popula, and Speer will look like a dork.

I predict that in a year I will still be wearing my pre-faded jeans, my stylish yet affordable boots, a long sleeve shirt underneath a tshirt, my bead-bracelets, my necklace that loses another bead everytime I check, but my hair will be silver (as this summer's blue dye job fades), my eyebrow will be pierced, and I may have a henna tat.

Definitely not a fashion person.

Is a T-shirt and jeans 'fashion'?

Or lately, my work clothes with no tie, untucked shirt, top two buttons open. I bought a wool, 2 polyester, and 1 silk suit for the year.

I've worn more suits working full time then I ever thought I would. I still hate them.

Confession: I can tie a tie of course, but it's still a bother.

Solution: Never fully untie my ties. I just slide them tight or loose. Then I ball them up and throw them in the corner.

You're funny Speer. Not only do you care what you wear, but you care what other people wear. You think there's meaning in different pieces of cloth you cover your body with. How amusing.

I predict that in a year or two I might be wearing clothing. Unless the current trend holds up, in which case I'll be flat broke and homeless.

Loz, what's wrong with wearing aesthetically and/or artistically appealing clothing?

Al, "people" is probably a misnomer in this case. The fashion trends in the 'burbs are not as much driven by middle-class youth copying the poor as marketing executives studying the poor, watering down their designs to an appropriate level and then peddling them as exciting and cutting-edge to the middle-class youth. Major clothing labels have large departments dedicated entirely to studying poor urban trends...

Oh there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I just think it's funny that people take it so seriously sometimes. All of my clothing is chosen for maximum comfort, nothing else. In fact, everything aesthetic in my life is done merely for comfort.

The only aesthetic thing that I bother to make decisions about is music, and even there I can listen to practically anything, and I don't attempt to force my opinions on music onto other people.

No, because it doesn't matter to me. And I more than make up for my lack of excitement in the clothes department by being absolutely insane when it comes to what I say. I get very strange looks, despite my bland attire.

Jawn! That post was dope. I ain't no Joe though. I best go get me some Joe Buddens, Jae Hood, and David Banner 'cause 50 Cent is so Wings now. I'll need more than a dub to get all 3. Ooo, and I'll need those Jay Z shoes and a leather diamond jacket.

Then won't nobody be drawling me about being lame.
