FPS, do you invert the look? Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

I'm always amazed the 'invert look' is an option and not the default, I find FPS totally unplayable with it off

I find the inverted mode to be counter-intuitive and unplayable.

When you pull the mouse down to 'look' up. It's never the default but a can't play FPS with it off

I guess you are saying like "flying" style. Where you pull back on the yoke to raise the front of the plane and be looking "up"

I don't play FPS enough to say. It really doesn't matter. I can get used to them either way. It just takes a while to get accustomed to it.

Yes I'd invert. I'd also prefer to invert both ways. i.e left is right and vice versa.

oh I should mention that I like to invert with joysticks and controllers, but not with mice.

Invert look is for flight simulators, not FPS. If I move the mouse down it's cause I wanna look down, not up.

If I'm using a mouse, I can't stand inverted looking. If I'm using a joypad, then I prefer it (I can't play Perfect Dark or Halo without it).

Same for me. I have no idea why my preferences change depending on what method of control I'm using, but they do.

Only times I'll invert is if I'm on a console or playing with a joystick of some sort.

Why anyone would use it with a mouse is beyond me.

I keep it verted. It doesn't keep me from understanding flight sims (because when I'm flying something I feel as if I'm moving the BACK of the craft). I CANNOT PLAY FPS when it's inverted.

I tend to think of it more like I'm using Windows: I move the mouse over where I want to shoot and click like I'm clicking an icon. Makes more sense to me, personally.
