After comments made by fellow team members, I have decided to turn over mod powers to Panzer32 and retire from the Glory of War Team.

I have pmed MarkG to turn over the mod powers to Panzer.

Well...

For the others on the team, basically these comments were made by me alone. I apoligise for the harsh words I said in the chat, and I request that you stay on as at least the CoW.

I realise that it would be improper to publish the entire chat, but I think it would be appropriate for me to publish what I said for the team to see:

I was in the chat though not participating since I was busy but read it after the damage was done.

I just want to say that I am ashamed to be on this team when this kind of bullshit happens. Yes, it is bullshit because I find it frankly unacceptable that people take things, especially criticism, so personal and take childlike responses to them.

I am not calling for a no-con vote on anyone, I am calling for a GROW THE **** UP vote instead, take the heat, live with it, criticize, and expect to be criticized too. That goes for both.

I am deeply sorry to see that GF has asked to leave, or that Panzer is willing to call a no-con on himself. You two have done good jobs so far and for this to happen over something so pathetically silly is just pure utter nonsense.

Both of you do what you want. I stand and die with this team no matter what happens.

Unless we want to take 24hours for every turn like GS, we need to make decisions quickly and decisively with whoever is available at the time.

This means mistakes happen. This also means conflicting strategies, and differences in opinion.

Just deal with it and move on. Argue your points but never make it or take it personally.

You said it all MZ. This game is for our enjoyment, NOT to cause more stress that we all have to deal with anyway. Everybody just chill out and enjoy what up to know has been a very enjoyable experience.

Exactly as Aggie said, when the game is about peronal attacks it is no longer fun and I have no desire to be involved.

The fact that the team feels that I have never consulted it on anything and was the sole player of the game pisses me off immensely. This is the exact feeling I wanted to avoid. Heck I even called a no-con on myself because I felt strongly about it. Now I find out that the team thinks I purposely tried to steal the game and was actively trying to prevent anyone from putting in their feedback.

Fine, I will leave and this way there is no way I can be preventing anyone from putting in their feedback.

No, this is NOT a team issue as there were only 2 people involved in that discussion. Why GF insists that this reflects the ideas of the entire team is way beyond me.

Anyway, I really find no need to continue this discussion. It pains me to see that GF has taken a very extremist position, assuming that the entire team is pissed at him or something which is not true.

Well, do as you wish GF, it's a shame you have to leave but I just want to tell the team that reading over the original conversation, I find it rather ridiculous that this is the only option you find viable.
