...to fix up Poly. Am I the only one who experiences growing access ("server too busy" ) and speed problems during recent days?

Or is it just a new wavewith lots of registrations related to new games like RoN?

He speaks the truth. Only this morning I had to wait ten full minutes before 'Poly even let me into the forums. It said it was giving priority to registered members (such as myself) but it still said it was too busy. Alas!

I have quit visting Poly that actively as there's no point trying to get around here as it's so slow. If it speeds up sometime in the future, then it's a different story.

'Poly seems to be fine at the moment. It reminds me of when Civ 3 had just come out - I had to avoid 'Poly from about 9am US time as it slowed to a crawl.

Markos could always be rescued ( surprise no-one has tought about that yet ) and put to a country without and extradition treaty , ...

, Israel would be great , ....

actually we could start a petition and ask the Greek military and gov to put him in an office at the MOD in Athens with adsl or so , ....

loads of things can be achieved in Greece if you do it the "right" way , ......

he his recruting members for his radio and civ's cites , .....

no wonder the server is slow , he is bringing in his whole platoon , then his battalion and by the time he leaves he has an entire Greek regiment on poly , .....

that explains it , why did we not think about this before , ....

I wonder if that could become a future option... or would it be too elitist?

Technically... all the mods and staff members have priority on the server when it slows down... Didn't seem to help my access much the last few days
