Oh, where to begin. I had RON installed and it ran with no problem. I tried installing the second patch and it blew up half way throuh the process and from there I couldn't even start the game. Uninstall, reinstall, repatch and now when I try to run CTW, it crashed to desktop with 'Failed to init conquest map data texture' dialog with Abort, Retry Ignore. If I try for a solo game it just crashed to desktop with no error messages.
Anyone seen this before?? This seems to be a reall picky game as it had problems running on my older, slower system (collapse to taskbar issue others have referred to).
Current system:
Pentium 4 2.666666...
1 GB RAM
SOundblaster Audigy 2
MSI GeForce 4 4200 128 MB
