*This is a recording.*
(1) Using mIRC, go to the Apolyton.net server at apolyton.net:6667. I assume you've already been there, though, and know that much. 
(2) When there, if you have not already registered your nickname, register it! First, change to the nickname you want to register (/nick [yournick])
code:
/msg Nickserv REGISTER [your_email@whute.ver] [thepasswordyouwant]
(3) You will get a message in the e-mail address you provided that gives you your authorization code. You will need to type the specific command it gives you in the chat.
code:
/msg Nickserv AUTH 000000000
(Replace the 000 with the actual authorization number it sent you.)
(4) Then, and every time you enter the apolyton.net IRC server, you will have to IDENTIFY yourself to Nickserv.
code:
/msg Nickserv IDENTIFY [yourpassword]
(You must be in the same nick that you registered, though.)
(5) Nickserv works in conjunction with Chanserv, and if Chanserv is set to op you in a channel or something, it will not do so until you have identified through Nickserv.
