Comrades, the time draws near...

Soon I will be leaving this place and travelling southwards for the new pastures of Schwabia ! I'm moving on Sunday, but I'll have to pack the 'puter away before then... not to mention packing everything else before then... I have already aranged a high-speed connection for the new house, so it shouldn't take tooo long before I'm back on-line, it really depends on the Schwabian Telecom people getting thier arses in gear.

I was at the new house the last couple of days, and I have found a new punishment, for when nervestapling simply isn't harsh enough - painting ceilings!

Mrs Jamski : Paint this ceiling white
Me : But it is white already
Mrs Jamski : DOITNOW!
Me : OK... *paints ceiling white and practically dies*
Mrs Jamski : You missed a bit
Me : WTF? How can you see that?
Mrs Jamski : DOITNOW!
Me : *dies*

Anyway... keep building more bases, and get them close together. We don't want most of them to get above size 4 anyway because of the DRONES. Go after crawlers and get Planned and Weath as soon as possible. Build masses of formers and as soon as possible change scout patrols for trance-scouts (same cost to build) and then police-trance-scouts. BUILD MORE BASES ! And I'll be back as soon as I can. I hope we're not still on the bottom of the power graph when that happens.

What dedication! Our deputy chairman has not forgotten to guide us through the fungus even in his punishment chamber. Work hard, boys (and girl), I'm sure we'll be able to rise up to power when he comes back, at least second from bottom perhaps?

This should be put in the next PRAVDA! Seriously though, move safely and make sure you don't forget anything. I've painted ceilings before and I can tellyou that when your arms starts to cramp up, it's no fun.

I've been allowed another hour before I pack the 'puter up into its little cardboard box!

So...

Firstly - if I come back and HongHu is an Emperor - then let me be the first to say I wasn't surprised

Voltaire - I've told Claire she can sleep on your sofa for a couple of weeks - I hope you don't mind

Rokossovky - Yes, that's Schwabia, Germany - home of the blood sausage and the Schwartzwalderkirschtorte (check my spelling Micha )

SU - Luckily the house gained two indoor toilets sometime in the fifties However... we don't have central heating or hot water - each floor has a huge ceramic oven/stove/boiler contraption that looks bloody dangerous if you ask me. The house is built into the old city wall (protects against floods) which is made of masses of COLD stone... looks like I'll be getting a new jumper or two...

Franky - My arm got cramped just looking at it... I took the biggest roller I could find in the shop, 'cos I assumed it woul be quicker... BIG mistake. Sure it would have been quicker, but a 18 inch roller gets pretty heavy pretty fast.

So Comrades, have fun without me. I shall be dreaming thinking of you all, and playing Steel Panthers to keep busy untill the Telecom comes through. (if Mrs Jamski gives me time... there's plenty more home improvements to be done...)
