Performance improvement in future patch? Brian or someone from BHG? Suffering from ads?

Hello,

I have decided to return the game to the store and resort to play the trial version while waiting for performance improvement if any in the future patches. After reading so many horrible technical problems here and seeing my own system (1Gz Duron, 512 GB RAM, GeForce4 MX 64MB) achieved 21FPS and 9FPS dense battle with the trial version, I have decided to wait and buy the game next year, when price has dropped considerably and all the bugs have been fixed. May be a typical gamer with lot of money would be able to run out and spend 500-1000 dollar to upgrade the machine, but I cannot and refuse to do so, it's morally wrong! It's regrettable, because I really like RON, however, I cannot justify buying a system at 3 times the system requirement to be able to play decently. After all, it's just a game. So hopefully, someone from BHG would take into consideration an average gamer like myself and incorporate some performance tuning into the game.

Thanks.

Too bad. I'd return that Geforce4 MX while your at it. Its basically the same speed as a GeForce 2 Ultra. A good rule of thumb for Nvidia cards is never buy an MX. No need to spend $1000 though for $200 you can get a fast Athlon and a Radeon 9500 and increase your FPS by 700%.

Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Well,

A Radeon 9500 here in Canada goes for 300$cdn, plus an Athlon 200+, another 100$cdn, that's 400$cdn plus sale taxes. The game itself costs 65$cdn. I just cannot justify spending an extra 400$ for a game. I would have to just pass.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Ha yea really, I can't justifiy spending that much money just to play a game, I do admit though I bought a new Video card for my comp a E-Geforce 4 mx 440, I know people say its bad, but hey, while they can go play with more FPs than me, I'll go and spend my extra $100 I saved some place

Plus hell, the Geforce 4 is a whole lot better than my
16mb Vanta/Vanta Lt

In my experience, it's hit or miss whether you get charged for customs ordering something from the US. The times I've been hit, the custom charges were as high as what I was buying!!! (I still remember paying over CAN$70 customs charge on CivII-Gold that cost me US$35)

Course, that was quite some time ago. It might be better now.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

It all depends on the company that send you stuffs. Big names will declare you as importer and the government will hit you with excise and duties (to force you to buy locally instead) most of the time it's not worth the time and effort. The long way is that you have friend or relatives in the US and then you ask them to get the stuffs for you.
