Please post here to say if you're going to be playing the current turn. It's pretty much a first-come first-serve system.

Please check this thread and post here (and leave it 5 minutes afterwards to account for cross-posting) before you open the save.
We don't want to have a situation where two people play the same turn simultaneously, but taking diferent actions (and thereby giving us a potential advantage when it comes to scouting, goody huts etc.)
In the case of two people cross-posting that they'll play the turn the standard system will simply be whichever post comes higher in the thread is the valid one - unless players want to make other arrangements.
After you do so please start a thread for the turn (include the in-game date in the title please), where you describe any changes from last time, maybe post a screenshot if you think it's relevant, and outline any actions you've taken.
This is supposed to be a democracy game, and while we don't have to vote or discuss every tiny detail, it is only in the proper spirit to allow some open discussion on each turn. However, this is game is more relaxed and fun than the other one, so we don't have to have a consensus on every single Scout move, labourer allocation or worker action.
It would be helpful, however, if you make a note of your actions and motivations so that any strategy you may have had isn't ruined by someone else playing the next turn who isn't privy to your thoughts.
This post is perhaps longer than it needs to be. Oh well. 
Anyway, our first turn will arrive soon I hope. Game on!
