Excercise plays a part in it but that's not the only factor.

The food supply is the main culprit by far.

yeah blame it on food.. not how lazy you are.. when you havent even tried moving around

And dont tell me "we exercise but its not working cause we eat too much". Most ppl dont exercise. Goto the nearest park and see just how many people play in the basketball court. Actually Lemme ask a question to those who think they are fat... whens the last time you jogged, played basketball or went to the gym? . And they dont even do it regulary and expect to lose weight. I mean when are people gonna realize just consuming and not using them up leads to net gain?

True, no matter how you exercise, if you eat a whole cow a day, its not gonna work, but for most of americans, you guys are not at a position to really use that as an excuse to blame it on junk food.

Most people are gonna replace BKs with stick of butter while they are watching TV anyway. Is that really healthy?

Taxing junk food is pointless

And DONT EVEN DARE say we'll tax foods based on calories. Now thats proposterous.

Okay have you ever seen people who do alot of manual labor but are still very large? You think they aren't getting enough exercise?

And yes you are wrong and I am right, the problem is the food supply, plain and simple.

large people and fat people are different. But I've seen fat people in manual labor, yes... but Ive also seen a skinny japanese guy who can eat 36 hot dogs and stay skinny.

Its not correct to base majority of pop on a minority and say thats the problem.

and second of all, its not the food supply, its the types of food we choose to eat. No point in bannign junk food when I can get just as fat eating baked potato on my couch

So according to your theory that Japanese kid must be doing alot of exercise?

I doubt it. Maybe he just has something called a high metabolism?

People's bodies process food differently.

Before taxes on food or herding fatties into work camps, I'd try curbing the pervasive advertising of junk food, particularly those aimed at children.

Full PM-box? Change here!

some people eat over 4000 calories a day.

do you know how much excersize you would have to do to burn that much?

but one thing about excersize is it does seem to make me less hungry. I didn't believe it at first. In fact I remember it making me more hungry. But if I eat a peanut butter on a ritz and excersize, I won't feel hungry afterwords- and can go several hours before I feel hungry. Aside from the stair stepper, I don't do stenuous excersize- it's not my thing. I do use my dumbells as well, but nothing too extreme.
