God good, I remember all that stuff last week on Calendar (the zenith of regional broadcasting of course ) and religious nuts from all over the world flocked to whatever the village was called...although from the footage there only actually seemed to be about 8 people there and they were all from the US...

ISTR that the Potomac above or even just below Little Falls is not polluted to the point of being squalid. I suspect similar is true for other fall line cities like Richmond, VA.
