	Fake Patch Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

I recently re-installed Civ3, and had to re-locate the patch for it, I downloaded and installed, and Whoopsie, whats this,... My opening menu has no visible button and the bottom of the screen reads..

ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US

Now I know about the funny vid about this, so its obvious that someone has had some fun, and messed with everything, All game text is messed up...

So I go to get the proper 1.21 Ptw patch, same thing... whats going on ?? where do I get the real patch??

You should completely uninstall the game and reinstall, and then use the patch from the civ3 web site.

try a virusscan thats updated , ......

Hmmm, I have the russian version, there is no patch for it, The 1.21 patch works ok, but all the text files are out of wack, and they read the wrong part of files for the text... hence the silly title screen...

I guess I gotta go buy the Aussie version.....Damn

I.e. you have a pirated version from Petrosoft most likely. Then I suggest buying an authentic copy and then using the international English 1.21 update.

hold it right there , ......

the english english patch is only for the english disk , ..... ( UK )

there is also english in the US (!)

and the best he can do is order a US english disk !
