	Wonders Get a bigger avatar today!

When an expansion pack is released, I'd like it to contain more wonders, though there's one thing I don't want changed by that: There shouldn't be more wonders during one game...
What I'd like to see is, at the start of the game, two wonders for each age are randomly chosen...


That way, by adding new wonders, it doesn't make the maps be filled with wonders, and it makes some differences in the games (e.g. You only have 50% to be in a game, where you can build wonder X)

This may change the strategy in games. I guess there's lots of people, who has a strategy to "go for Wonder X, then Wonder Y", but with my idea, there's only 25% that Wonder X and Wonder Y is both in the same game, while there's also 25% chance that none of those wonders are in the game*


I hope you understand what I'm trying to say... I'm a little at the moment...

* The numbers are based on this: The expansion pack contains 2 new wonders per age

I like the idea. I think it would add a lot more Diversity in games that at the moment isnt there.

I agree, currently people rely to much on a singal Wonder to get them that winning edge. (I'm one of them ... Thats one reason I like the Idea, I wouldn't have such a cruch to lean on )

Nice idea, hopefully you get some good feedback on the idea.

Coming from a Civ/SMAC background, I moaned when I saw how few wonders there were. That is, until I played against an AI smart enough to try to build them!

I definitely agree that there shouldn't be any more wonders available per game, but some diversity from game to game would be nice. Good suggestion.

But, like nearly everything else, it should be selectable. Either you can pick which wonders from each age you want included, or pick "Random" to let the computer decide for you.

I love complaining, but it's getting very difficult to find any faults in this game.

Yeah, that would be nice... though I probably would play with random all the time anyway

But by making people pick, it might also be possible to pick all four wonders from one age, while there's no wonders in another age... Could probably be used when creating scenarios...

Me too
