	Play the world sound problems Support Apolyton

Ok i just got play the world. I installed it and everything was good. When i try to start the game a message comes up and says The sound files in sounds.dll. did not match the sound header, ect..... Has anyone had a message like this? Does anyone know how to fix it? If so please reply! I want to Play!!!!

I know one reason for this could be the fact that your civ version is a warez one.

If not, try uninstalling and reinstal again.

Have you had any other audio related issues on your system? What OS do you have? What sound card or integrated audio chipset do you have? Do you have DirectX 9.0a installed?

I think Civ is looking for files that aren't there..

What happens if you play without sounds? (I don't think it's going to help though).

See what happens if you install it in a different folder (full install! is there any other option in civ? Can't remember)

i dont have any other audio problems. i have directx 9.0 and a fully compatible sound and video card.

Then I assume it's simply due to a pirated version of the game.

have you allready tried with a different disk , .....

try to exchange the disk and see what that does , .....

Hey the sound problem is over thanks for the help. but now whenever i load the game it just goes black... Stupid game! Stupid Computer! Maybe it was justa waste of money...

Hey its me. Last night i got the game to work! It ran about 2hrs then it said an error has occured and quit civ 3 PTW. When i try to start it again the screen goes black again and doesn't work.. What the hell?!? What's wrong?
